The 6th IMA–OR Society Conference on Management Mathematics will take place on 29th–30th April 2027 at The Studio (51 Lever Street, Manchester).
It will bring together researchers and practitioners working at the intersection of mathematics, management science and OR.
The Chair for the confernce is Aris Syntetos, Cardiff University, a member of COPIOR.
The COPIOR meeting was held on 8 September 2026 as part of the recently concluded OR68 Annual Conference at the University of Nottingham. The meeting was conducted in a hybrid format and was attended by 24 COPIOR members.
COPIOR meetings have traditionally been held in December. However, following feedback from members, we experimented this year with holding the meeting alongside the OR Society’s Annual Conference to provide an additional opportunity for members to attend.

The second Committee of Professors in Operational Research (COPIOR) and Heads of OR and Analytics Forum (HORAF) joint event on AI and Decision-making was held at Alliance Manchester Business School on 19th May 2026. The event was hosted by the Chair of COPIOR, Nadia Papamichail, and the Centre for AI and Decision Sciences. The second part of the day concluded with the biannual COPIOR meeting, which was held in a hybrid format.
